That Jackson and Alex were related and OMG the next book should hail some unexpected outcomes and relationship issues between our main couple.. can’t wait to read the next one… I’ve read the If I Break series and I think this one is going to be a favorite too!! Thank you Portia!!

I was hooked! The book was so amazing, except the ending. It got really confusing a little rushed and then they say Jackson is Alex’s Dad??!!! I thought she already introduced his Mom and Dad?? Hoping this is cleared up in book 2!!!

Ok, please tell me how could she have seen a pic of his parents and met John at the house for dinner and Jackson said he ONLY had a daughter and now he has three kids and now who is John that she met with Kate. WTH I mean I’m all for curveballs but this one didn’t even make sense. I had to go back and read it. It was like that in a couple other sections of the book too where the friend of Brad’s was called Matt when his name was Nate. I actually love this author and read a whole series and a spin off from her but the ending of this book kind of made me like WTH. Seriously?!?!? And it’s not just me from the other comments....so like huh?

Definitely wasn’t proofread. How can Alex have parents John and Kate in Chapter 16 with similar features and then have his father Jackson in the final chapter. Had to go back to read twice to make sure I didn’t misread. Seems like we just decided at last minute to throw in so we could have a book two and forgot you already introduced her to his parents.

Yikes! That was definitely NOT what I expected when I clicked on this book. Had there been some mention of cheating, I would have passed on it. It was well-written BUT oh my gawd, so much cheating! And the cliffhanger?! Nope, not gonna read anymore after that. Need eye-bleach and Disney movies to get rid of the bad taste in my brain. Ewww!

Wow that ending... Portia does not disappoint. I did not see that coming! The only reason i gave this one 4 stars is because of a few spelling mistakes, but otherwise the story was great. I cannot wait for the next one!

Okay, first off let me say I have read other books by this author and I loved them. Her writing style may not be , the best way I can put this is “ grammatically correct “ but you can overlook it with the story . Portia has a way of writing that makes you want to flip to the last page to see what the heck is really going on in every book I’ve read of hers at least. That’s what I want in every book Now for this book collided , the book was wow. I mean if I say to much I’ll give it away. I will say I wouldn’t have read this book if I knew there was a cliffhanger, (I can’t stand them. And they have so many book series out, that Its easy to wait for an entire series to be done to enjoy all of them at my leisure) otherwise it was a fast passed , very addicting book. I would recommend this book to everyone, just like I did with If I stay. Now I can’t wait until the next one . Ugh I would give this 5 stars but I can’t because of the cliffhanger. I did read this book in like 12 hours . It’s that freaking addicting.
